Enjoy the gorgeous sands of our beaches. Head up to the community garden or explore further out to the Lighthouse, there's loads for little feet and paws to explore.

From dolphins to birds, crabs and rockpools, there is so much wildlife to see and photograph just in the village alone

Grab your bucket, space and swimmers. There's nothing better than a day at the beach playing in the water, be warned, the water can be chilly at times! 

Not only does the lighthouse boast breathtaking views, but it is steeped in history and stories. Our favourite being the lighthouse was used as a meeting place for witches covens and prior to that it used to be a Roman Fort.

Portmahomack is just off the route of the North Coast 500. You can explore parts of the route or stop off on a detour in your way round the whole route. It's no wonder it's so famous for visitors when it involves castles, beaches and fantastic views
